Athena Salman, wearing a mask indoors alone in her office, compared Arizonans who advocated against mask and vaccine mandates to those who would advocate for drunk driving. She mocks “freedom” while advocating for the State Government to enforce mandatory vaccines and mask-wearing – which would have been the most radical state COVID policy in the United States.

Additionally, Salman demonstrates a complete lack of knowledge over the different types of liberty (link to Isaiah Berlin’s “Two Types of Liberty”). Do you want state politicians who mock freedom, advocate for government mandates, and misunderstand core political philosophy?

A Friend of Radicals, An Enemy of Israel
Rep. Salman with Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (AOC), an outspoken opponent of Israel and member of “The Squad” – a far-left coalition in the US House of Representatives.
In 2020, Athena Salman bragged about killing the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s bill to protect Jewish families in America.
Rep. Salman retweeting a pro-Palestine podcast that depicts Palestine as including the entirety of Israel, once again denying the legitimacy of the only Jewish state in the world.
Athena Salman has been an outspoken opponent of the Jewish and Israeli people. In 2019, she sponsored a pro-Palestine bill and has repeatedly advocated for those who want to boycott the only Jewish state in the world. She has vocalized support for Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Linda Sarsour, who has endorsed Palestinian terrorists and politicians who were “the best on Palestine.”
Salman is a friend of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s and firmly rejects the Jewish people’s claim to the land of Israel or that it even legitimately exists. In 2020, she worked to open the PACC – a Palestinian activist and community center.
